I’m out of town for a week, on what will probably be my last trip. (I’ve been having terrible problems with swelling and discomfort, but I’d be having that at home if I were there.) The friend I’m with is finding the wheelchair-pushing a little hard; prayers for her health and comfort would be greatly appreciated.
Prayers continuing to ascend, and especially for T., the husband of one of D's organist colleagues, who has terminal cancer and is only expected to live a few weeks.
Praying for all in need.
Both my sons have exams coming up, Elijah has his first GCSE today (they do RE a year early at his school) and Zadok starts his A’levels next week. Please pray for them, especially Zadok, that they don’t get overly stressed.
Once again, I ask for your prayers for Little Beaky.
He has had to have an NG tube fitted as they discovered he was silently aspirating.
He HATES it and they are all exhausted!
My continued prayers for us all and those we love.
{{Little Beaky}} and family. Lord, have mercy. Mary, pray.
Of your charity, pray for the soul of R, a feisty, 88-year old lady, long active at her local evangelical church, especially with the more senior members!
She passed away peacefully yesterday, after a short illness, during which her family maintained a 24/7 presence with her in our local Hospice.
<votive> For Little Beaky and family
<votive> For the repose of the soul of BF's R
<votive> For Telepath and the Telemum
<votive> For my dear friend P, who is 96, and says, "I have lived too long for my body." But she's still one of the sharpest, funniest, most generous, most loving people I know.
<votive> For all in need
Praying for all who need our prayers specially Rosseweisse, the Beaky family and the telepath and the telemum.
Prayers are still needed for my brother. He came home after three weeks in hospital on Tuesday, but he's back in again today as things are still not quite right.
For an elder of the Kirk, it's odd that I find prayer so hard to do. My usual prayer, that I offer here, is that the people named above will find and enjoy strength from God and through God's people. I don't believe God sends adversity, but I am sure that the strength to deal with it comes from God.
<votive> Prayers ascending for all in need
Although I've been off chemo for ten days now, the edema is worse than ever; it's painful, and my clothes don't fit properly. Prayers that it may depart swiftly would be greatly appreciated.

(I worry about Telepath and the Telemum.)
Please pray for my friend K, whose husband has just died.

Asking for prayers for a resolution of grievances as regards the civil unrest in the Cape right now, with winter approaching and increased violence.
For all in need of comfort and peace 🕯
