Okay, thanks for prayers everyone, they are definitely working because the Telemum's infection is clearing up and there's no blood clot.
However - on Sunday I was going to drive her to a reunion of her old opera friends. It was extra important that I take her this time because she's missed the last two, and the second of those was my fault.
BUT she's just been told that she won't get home before Monday - thereby missing the reunion. There's still one working day left in the week - maybe with our combined prayer-might we can turn this around?
Wandering back in to join my prayers with yours...
Any spare prayers I could use - I have to have an operation to remove my gallbladder in October and it is really freaking me out. I don't like hospitals and the thought of an operation etc is horrid but not, I know, as awful as what others are having to bear at the moment.

D is better now. It's not the terrifying thing that the ophthalmologist feared it was when she heard the description. Deo gratias - and thank you.
Thanks and reporting that prayers are working. The hospital (swamped in A&E) did not go in to panic mode. I retrieved M at midnight, D was seen at 1.30, and is now on antibiotics again. But no-one tells anyone anything. You'd think a clinical person would give the next of kin some diagnosis and prognosis, wouldn't you?

Prayers appreciated for inspiration for a presentation I need to prepare for a job interview on Tuesday. I have just come back from a two week holiday so have had no opportunity to prepare before now and am still tired from traveling and trying to get my brain back in gear after a nice break from everything work related! Thank you.
We are in the process of moving our daughter into her dorm for freshman year of college. She is excited, but also very nervous, especially about some specific aspects of adjusting to college life. It should help that her brother is about to start his senior year at the same college.
Meanwhile, Ms. Tamen and I will leave in a little while to make the drive home to what will now be an empty nest, two dogs and a cat notwithstanding.
Prayers for Lucia as she does her preparations for tomorrow (X) (crossed fingers too), to the Tamen family - both at uni and at home, and to jedijudy's mom.....
For Nenya and family and all in difficult family situations.
My brother is still in hospital and doctors don't seem much closer to a solution to the complications from his major cancer surgery in April. In the meantime his mental health doesn't sound good and his wife and ten year old are suffering from the fall out. The whole family could do with upholding.
For all that need our prayers and cannot ask. <votive>
Thanks everyone - the Telemum missed her reunion, but she did get home on Monday. The good news is that all the weakness she had been suffering for months up till her recent hospital stay, has disappeared. Deo gratias.
