So the Telemum is about to be sent home in a normal taxi, as the hospital transport was taking too long. Hospital at Home will tend to her until fully healed, and her infection is much better. This means she *will* get her bandage changed by the proper experts this week. Also, suspicions of irregular heartbeat turned out to be nothing, as usual. It’s all looking good.
Update on Little Beaky:
He is being moved to a neurological ward later today and will need to stay in until they have stabilised the seizures. So they are having to continue camping out at the hospital. Things are definitely moving in the right direction but there is still quite some way to go.

I would appreciate prayers about my work situation. I'm a little bit worried about finding a new job (which is probably irrational - I have skills and experience and nationally 15 - 20% of positions in my field are unfilled). I'm very worried about getting through my notice period in my current job without telling some of my managers they're fuckwits / having my mental health take a nosedive / not giving the children & families I work with a good-enough service.

I was able to speak to Baby Caroline's mother at choir rehearsal this evening; Caroline is doing much better (and so is her mother). Thank you for your prayers; I don't think it's time to let them go quite yet, but progress has been made. Thank you.
Tiny Toby has been moved to a bigger room with "natural light" - which I assume is progress. Latest pic shows him in his little bed-thingy simply dwarfed and surrounded by machines, screens and tubes (along with the Big Windows Letting in the Natural Light). So he is obviously not out of the woods by a long way after his 48 days with us - he still has "breathing issues", though he is gaining weight.
I am feeling a bit despondent, actually - but of course "What would I know?"
Well, I do know how to pray and how to ask for prayers - we are up to 4 religions now praying for the Little Chap on an ongoing basis

My brother K is still in hospital and very weak, but hopefully the doctors have a plan to get him back to health. My husband asked why I wasn't distraught, but I feel weeping and wailing isn't really going to help matters whereas a bit of humour and a lot of prayer might.

Latest news from Little Beaky's mum:
A very kind black cab driver helped us with our stuff and we’re crammed into a cab, finally on our way home! I honestly can’t remember what it looks like!
But the compromise is he's very dazed which is horrible. We’re hoping with time he’ll adjust to the sedative part of the meds as we hate him being like this. He has no quality of life like this, other than he’s not in distress.
So, still some way to go but so thankful. Thank you for your prayers
Prayers requested for J, a friend of mine, please.
She was invited to stay with some aquaintances in a refurbished farmhouse somewhere, and it turns out that, very much unbeknownst to her, they may be heavily into black magic and satanism and stuff; the bookshelves in the house were full of it. She says she had the most horrible nightmares overnight, and that she left in the morning, although she was supposed to stay longer. She says she has rarely felt such an atmosphere of spiritual oppression and attack, and that she is not that sensitive to these things normally.

So, the Telemum wanted to read CS Lewis in hospital, and I had some of his nonfiction but she felt it was over her head. I do not have the gift of evangelism to put it mildly, but I’d really like to get through to her.
She is still housebound, and feels that her life has not been worth living since this started. I do think she can still get better and could get around independently with a rolling thing, but she needs help spiritually and physically.
A message just in from one of my sons. DIL’S father had had emphysema for years but this winter has missed his several bouts of pneumonia. However he has been in hospital a couple of weeks with some form of sepsis and appeared to be recovering. Son and DIL have just been called in to hospital as condition has worsened. She has a preteen and a teenager.
Prayers for all, for D and the Telemum, for Lothlorien's family and the families of various shippies who have sick littles. May the goodness of God be seen in peace and healing.
