I haven't been here in a long time, but I want to thank those who have prayed for Sir Kevin and me. I am mostly better though I am having to see a psychologist often. He has Lewy Body Dementia with parkinsonism, and the car crash made it much worse. He is not able to do anything for himself without help (he can mostly eat without a lot of help). Prayers are greatly appreciated. I am having problems at work due to worrying about him and haven't been able to go to church or sing without breaking down. He is very confused a great deal of the time.

As to the request for prayers regarding cataract surgery - do take heart. Mine was in the morning and I was having lunch in the pub in the afternoon. (Probably shouldn't have done.) Be brave. Stay strong. Have a drink of your favourite potable. I don't even play a doctor on television.
Rossweisse - glad to hear that the surgery went well. You have been on my mind and in my prayers. As are all.
My seven-year-old grandson Nat has kidney failure. He has been cleared for a transplant. Both his parents are being tested for compatibility. Please pray that one of them is a good match.
Indications are that Piers is making a remarkable recovery. He's out of ICU and has spoken in the flesh with Another Shippie™. I'm sending God a few happy dances and whispers of ecstatic thanks.
Wonderful news Zappa. I know Piers had not posted here in ages but I had wondered what had happened. Then I saw him in another place and then this nasty news. So good to hear of improvement.
Please could you keep my friends M and M in your prayers. M (female) has struggled with depression for a while, and also had alcohol addiction problems. There are also family tensions between her and her siblings. After a long time sober, she took too much medication plus alcohol - don't know if it was deliberate- she had a fall and was hospitalised. She is now in a clinic for 5 weeks. M, her husband, is being very upbeat, but is clearly worried. Please keep them in your prayers.
