I don’t know, you duck out for a few days and when you come back players have adopted a completely different code. It’s as if playing rugby with a team of 13 or with 15 players was only about numbers.
and apologies for my adding of an apostrophe, were there is none on the tube map.
how am I supposed to know if the Lane belongs to Rayner, or is just full of Rayners?
I wonder the grown-ups haven't made us tidy the board and little toy trains away...
Time to make things interesting again using the Closed Mainline Sunday rules and go to Sheffield Victoria. Barring the obvious escape, which does open a blue chip diagonal to anyone who's got all three of their Termini, that puts open stations in Spoon.
I was going to suggest Harvey, but as tomorrow's a public holiday* in Canada the whole place is probably in Spoon - or at least out into the country to open up their cottages.
So instead, I'm heading north:
Glasgow Queen Street
* Queen Victoria's birthday**, bless her!
** No - I don't know why we still have a public holiday for Queen Victoria's birthday either ...
A very good choice, I must say - although you had a fair number of Victorias you could have alighted it (London, Manchester, Sheffield, Norwich, Swansea for starters). Hence: Sirkeci (Marmaray).
Good sir, meseems you are attempting a reverse Immelmann Turn? Haven't seen one of those since - ooh, must have been the 2003 Northern Schools' Finals in Barnoldswick. I was really impressed by a bold move like that from a 17 year old, but Ray Nurzlane has gone from strength to strength since; not surprisingly he was named as Player to Watch in the MC Player of the Year Awards the following year.
Anyway, given that there's still that Spoon in place, and fortunately Dollis Hill can be avoided by an Oyster Evenings Only Old Stock option, I'm going to plump for Cockfosters
Well since Chelsea Flower Show is upon us, I say we all go to South Kensington (which has the added bonus of negating all inverted rhomboids south of Heligoland).

Because you've forgotten the Engineering Works Spoon Rules?
Charing Cross
Park Royal
Angel
Fenchurch Street
I'll move us along to Rayner's Lane, can't be bothered trying to think up anything trickier to deal witih

Ruislip Gardens is looking appealing for now
Camden Town
Bergen
Ashford International
Manchester Piccadilly

* assuming they're not extinct yet - I can't remember the last time I saw one in the wild.
Meanwhile, Caledonian Road
*excluding the batting averages for Surrey. Of course.
Ruislip
Not since the Circle line stopped being a circle. Old rule would apply if the Northern line was in Nidd, but it isn't.
Northolt
Oval
should be feasible.
Leicester Square
(Which puts the whole western side of the Northern Line into Nidd -deep level rules apply)
Southfields
Yes, I know, it's the obvious move, but unusual isn't always the best strategy.
