I'm ill. I've been having lots of nosebleeds (which two oncologists swear aren't anything to do with my meds), and on Thursday night I was horribly sick. Yesterday I didn't feel up to going out; this morning I had absolutely no voice - I could not phonate at all. I'm feeling horrible (and worrying about eating, because it's the last thing I want to do, but I have to take my pills with food), and a friend who called is worried about my color, or lack thereof. Prayer would be greatly appreciated.

Giving thanks for a dear friend who came over last night, helped me out, and shared dinner.
For California: a cessation to wildfires; safety and healing for everyone affected; for weather that helps, rather than hurts; wisdom for all officials involved; and wisdom for the PG&E utility company, which seems to have been at least partly responsible for past fires, and keeps turning off power in areas that might be susceptible.
For a good resolution to the affordable housing crisis in California, and specifically here in San Francisco.
For me: for finding an item I lost; for energy and focus to do some things I need to get done; and for health, courage, and general upholding.

My friend P for whom I requested prayers when he was in intensive care following cancer surgery is now back at home and filling in crossword puzzles -- gratitude
Turned out I was asking for the wrong things. The nurse provider has decided to leave anyone coming until tomorrow, and the visit we needed to find another way of getting to while I stayed here for the nurse isn't happening either. But thanks, anyway.
I would appreciate prayers for my brother G tomorrow. As some of you know G has Parkinson's and is going to undergo a medical procedure to fit an indwelling catheter because he has lost control of his bladder. I know this is a fairly routine procedure, but the Parkinson's can complicate things, and my sister-in-law (not his wife - married to my other brother) who has Enduring Power of Attorney over both financial and health matters has to be at the hospital while it is being done.

So, Problem Cat has now been home for a week. He is outraged that he has to have and use a litter tray in his cage. Sometimes he cries in pain. Other than that, he is receiving a level of care that many humans don't get, combined with love that no amount of money can buy...
So you remember I said last week why can't the Telemum just get BETTER already? She did. Even her "static" ulcer seems to be improving...
But now she's miserable and visibly, physically drained because Problem Cat cries in pain sometimes. I offered to move his cage into my room but no... Urged her to cultivate better boundaries, explained how I coped when she was crying in pain all that time. Give me strength!
Also, I have taken a day to really finally this time get all that stuff done and I have got very little stuff done. I need to get stuff done. stuff

Please pray for Samantha, who is only about 30 and dealing with a very aggressive breast cancer. She starts her treatments this week.
