Prayers for all above. Please pray for L. Who is having a difficult recovery from a lung resection to remove a tumour. Apologies to Ross for misquote. I shall cease and desist from any copying unless I am using a proper computer.
T, who I mentioned a while ago above, died at home this afternoon. Please pray for comfort for his wife and family 🕯.
Oh, Lord. It’s T’s funeral next Wednesday. His wife phoned me in tears earlier today to tell me that her daughter in law’s father died suddenly this morning, so her son and his wife have both lost a father and a father in law in the space of a couple of weeks 🕯
<votive> For @WormInTheGrass's L. (And no worries about the borrowed quote, although it did surprise me)
<votive> For @Doone's R and family

Prayers for this benighted country and all those going back to in-person work tomorrow being effectively sent to their deaths.
Spare a prayer for me because what a great time to be job hunting. I suppose we'll have to sign on in person as well, since the government seem only to care how many people they can kill, and how quickly.
An elderly friend, in the UK, fell and broke bones in February and had to move into a nursing home. I've just heard about this and also heard that she has the Covid virus. Am asking for prayer that she feel comfort from the staff and that things might be as easy as they can be. Finding myself so sad for her there all alone. Prayers too for the good friend who has kept her going for years and now has to stay away.
Prayers for @Lily Pad's friend. And for all those who are having to keep away from loved ones in care homes.
A special shout out of appreciation to my local care home who are posting several Facebook items a day showing how happy and active (relatively) the residents are: they are doing a good and creative job. So far they are also Covid free.
Well done Cathscats's care home (IYSWIM)! I understand the care home where my m-i-l is has kept Covid-free too: they locked themselves down well before it was mandatory.
Hello Shipmates, asking for your prayers once again as I just received this from Little Beaky's mum:
So we just had a really bleak (virtual) appt with a respiratory expert at the Evelina. He’s really worried about his lungs and chest and says he thinks he has a chronic lung problem. I always worried it would be the seizures that would kill him one day. But seems like the chest is what’s going to do it.
Thank you for all your love and care.
My prayers for us all and those we love
<votive> For @MrsBeaky and Little Beaky, and indeed the entire Beaky clan of family and friends. You are in my frequent prayers.

Am taking the Telemum to get her eye done at shortest notice tomorrow morning. I have to take her there and back and bring both of us back without an infection. It is all very scary. Though new cases are decreasing locally (unless of course all the test results are just lost, as apparently all the test results in the country have been) and deaths are fewer, we would really really really like to not personally add to the count of new infections, nor of deaths, be they of ourselves or others.
Cousin-in-law R and Second Cousin K and to some extent I are still devastated by the loss of Cousin Dearheart. R and K seem to be not holding up well at all.
And I was going to have handed in my first draft tonight but I can't because I have to get up early to drive the Telemum. This is all so astonishingly behind schedule I'm scared I won't finish on time and will lose everything for want of a nail. Please let the right combination of efficiency and leniency get me through successfully.
<votive> For @Lamb Chopped, in this and other matters
<votive> For @Telepath, for all things needful
<votive> For all in need
I almost forgot: I have a CT scan in the morning. I need for the cancer to have Not Progressed, so that I don't get kicked out of the study. Prayers would be greatly appreciated.

I'm getting COVID antibody testing tomorrow. Would you pray it comes back positive, so I can give plasma?
Yes, let's go full vampire on Lamb Chopped.
