I would like to add that I'm so glad you have been brave enough to join our little back stage crew, Rossweisse. I understand some very good wines have been added to the stash in addition to the GIN. Thanks for not letting us scare you away! Many gentle hugs to you!
Prayers ascending from these regions for @Galilit , @Robert Armin , Lisa, and all others suffering here or elsewhere, especially right now a young father in one of these villages; he, his wife, and his 2 year old have been self-isolating since March as he goes through not-very-hopeful chemo.
And all my love to @Rossweisse. Ross, I was remembering you yesterday on St Cecilia's Day, thinking the time you came over here and we met for lunch, and all your writing, here and elsewhere, your singing, your outspoken loves and hates--sending love, and giving thanks. To paraphrase Browning, 'Rossweisse, who loved well because she hated/Hated wickedness, that hinders loving.'
O Lord, support us all the day long of this troublous life, until the shades lengthen and the evening comes, the busy world is hushed, the fever of life is over and our work is done; then Lord, in thy mercy, grant us safe lodging, a holy rest, and peace at the last, through Jesus Christ our Lord.
If Bryan/Rossweisse's time has come, I pray that it is as peaceful and easy as possible. She's been a wonderful part of the Ship, as well as so many other people's lives. She's always in my prayers.

I'm in hospital overnight it's looking like. I've been tired and having problems breathing; it turns out I've got two litres of fluid on my right lung. Once that's drained I should feel a lot better.
Bring us, O Lord God, at our last awakening into the house and gate of heaven, to enter into that gate and dwell in that house, where there shall be no darkness nor dazzling, but one equal light; no noise nor silence, but one equal music; no fears nor hopes, but one equal possession; no ends nor beginnings, but one equal eternity: in the habitations of thy majesty and glory, world without end.
I went over at 11 to see her. She was briefly awake, though not very comfortable (cat lying on her bladder!) but she knew me. Then a herd of people from church and elsewhere showed up, including her daughters, so I cleared out and will come back later, whenever her niece (who is staying the night) calls me and says I can come without adding to the stress. So there's that.
Watch, O Lord, with those who wake, or watch, or weep tonight, and give Your angels and saints charge over those who sleep.
Tend Your sick ones, O Lord Christ.
Rest Your weary ones.
Bless Your dying ones.
Soothe Your suffering ones.
Pity Your afflicted ones.
Shield Your joyous ones, and all for Your love's sake. Amen.
I want to see the brightness of God
I want to look at Jesus
Clear sun of righteousness, shine on my path
And show me the way to the Father
In Him, there is no darkness at all
The night and the day are both alike
The Lamb is the light of the city of God
Shine in my heart, Lord Jesus.
Checking in. Prayers are continuing, candles in My Place's Lady Chapel have been lit and shall be tended to.
Amen and amen to the many lovely prayers that have been offered.
Almighty God, our creator and redeemer,
you are our strength and our hope.
You have given us Rossweisse.
to know and to love in our pilgrimage on earth. Uphold us now as we entrust her,
to your boundless love and eternal care. Assure us that not even death
can separate us from your infinite mercy. Comfort us in our anguish,
that we may know your sure consolation
and live in confident hope of the resurrection; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

Amen.
Amen. Prayers continuing, as always.
