Could I request continuing prayers from you dear folk for my daughter Lisa? Her first chemo infusion (for breast cancer) left her feeling very rough, but she's much more perky today.
Her next treatment is Dec 10. Pray for comfort, healing. Her treatment - chemo -radiotherapy - hormonal - will, the consultant says, last a year. A difficult year. Lisa's heart's desire is to work in her church as children's pastor. Please pray this will still be possible.
I am comforted that Ross found solace in her cats. Lisa tells me she is having a Bengal kitten for Christmas. Wiping tears from my eyes, I didn't say (thank you, Lord) "most folk make do with a turkey". One relishes these moments of reprieve.
Love to all and prayers for Robert.
Prayers for Lisa, for strength and comfort through these rounds of treatments; for healing and a return to good health, that she may serve You in her ministry to children; and for abundant joy with the forthcoming Christmas kitty.
Prayers ascending for @Robert Armin , for @Galilit , and for Lisa, for the success of her treatments and for her vocation. Well done for not winding her up about that kitten!
Thanks for Ross and prayers for Robert.
And a curse for cancer.
There will never be a cure for cancer except death, only cures for individual cancers. Cancer is not a single disease but a whole family. Asking for a single cure is a bit like thinking you can look after a lion like your pet cat just because they are both feline species.
I have a couple of ideas about that. If I have any luck, I'll report back.
I've offered. But I don't know if he's already made arrangements with someone else, so am waiting to hear back as to whether he/family are happy for me to post updates on his behalf.
