My mum has had a small stroke, which may put paid to her being able to live independently as she was already in a wheelchair due to MS. My dad died less than two months ago, and I feel like we're all still reeling from that in many ways. None of us live nearby but my two siblings have both been able to get up to our home town. I start a new job on Monday and everything just feels impossible and like I'm flailing.
I don't quite know what the prayers should be, but I know that we need them and will all appreciate them.
Right this minute I’m fretful about a rash on my arm and I am feeling depressed and lonely and I’m also stressed out over all of the stuff happening in the US. I also finally drew some boundaries with an enthusiastically Trump-loving, now former friend, that I’ve known going back to high school. I am feeling unburdened about the latter, but it’s still rather sad.
My friend Greg‘s divorce hearing did not appear to go well and we won’t know the details of the decision until weeks or months from now possibly or maybe sooner but we don’t know and please pray for him because this is something that will affect him for years and years to come.
Thank you all. It looks like it is not as bad as it first sounded, and the doctors think she will recover. Long road ahead though, and many things still to be worked out. We did manage to get up for the weekend at least, so that was something.

This is sort of minor, but important to me. I have a cold. I am going away to the Science Fiction convention Arisia this weekend. I can not go if I am too sick. Please pray that my cold should resolve, quickly!
Prayers please for our one year old grandson, Sammy. He has RSV again. He had it a year ago about the same time. He is at Seattle Children's Hospital on a CPAP machine--similar to ones adults with snoring issues have to wear, only the mask completely covers his head. Kind of looks like a 1950s space helmet. I guess once you have had RSV, you are more suspectable to get it again. Parents are taking shifts taking care of him.
Good news. Son just posted Sammy is off the Cpap. He is breathing on his own. Respiratory is not hearing any wheezing in his chest, today. Seems like parents caught the problem soon enough. They knew the warning signs from last year, apparently.
So glad to here Sammy is on the mend @Gramps49.
I've just heard the news that L, fellow councillor and past mayor of our town has died. He was one of life's good people, working tirelessly for our town and its residents. He will be much missed. Prayers for the repose of his soul.

The good news is, the Telemum has been completely lucid today, and mostly for the past four days, except yesterday for a while when she thought we were on a bus.
The bad news is, she's getting weaker and her blood pressure is dropping.
Sammy is still in hospital on regular floor. Son says he is taking eight puffs of albuterol a day to keep lungs clear. They want him to be down to four puffs a day before discharge.
Oh God. Prayer is welcome. I didn’t end up taking a shower tonight because when I took the wrapping and stuff off of the foot not only did that area not look good. There is kind of a hole now again it looks like and I am afraid it might be infected, but I don’t know. I do have a doctor appointment this coming week. Oh God I really don’t wanna go back to Wound Care or at least that Wound Care. I’m going to wrap up the foot extra carefully and put Neosporin in the hole and all over it. Please pray.

OK, so a friend of mine in the medical field (he deals with wounds) has seen pictures of it now and has said that it is not an emergency and gave me instructions for taking care of it and I may need to go to a care clinic but not to the ER. Thank God. Please do keep praying though because well you know I’m diabetic and I’ve been dealing with this foot issue in one way or another for a year and a half and you understand, I’m sure— it is frightening.

It is supposed to be fast tracked if it's for palliative care but the professionals / agencies should be able to yell at them for you.
