    I read it 30 years ago. I wouldn't say it was a favourite book, but it must have made some impression for me to recall the title after all these years.
  • I apologise for omitting the definite article - it does not have one in my memory :(

    Thanks! Google brought me to The Sloane Ranger Diaries, which I gather was the British version of one of those "How To Be A Valley Girl" books in the 1980s.
