I dislike tidying but I love a tidy house. I find tidiness calming.

When we moved here we got rid of two thirds of all our stuff and furniture - so we don't have any clutter or things we don't need. It's a very small house.

But, even so, it's never really tidy.

I've just finished Couch25K. Well, Couch 2 30mins which is rather more like 3.5K for me.

I'm quite glad I've finished it as I did discover that while I can run if I really force myself it's still on a par with being flogged with stinging nettles in terms of enjoyment. So it's been a great motivator to get back on the bike as an alternative.

Now, losing weight - that's the hard one, because cheese. I can sub that out for low fat cottage cheese, but there's only one brand I like because everyone else's is too soggy and I can only get it from one supermarket.

I rather fancy meeting at Bristol art gallery which is about a 20 minute walk from the bus station and 15 minutes from Temple Meads.

I've never been, but it looks to have a very nice cafe. Open Tuesday to Sunday.

In May I will be living in Queenslan, in a place 160km (100 miles) from where I live now.

I meet with the local Friends at the moment, but I never think of myself as belonging to a particular tradition. There is no Friends Meeting where I am going.

Often I'm not even asked - I just volunteer!

Recently it was to design a leaflet for a special event in town by the historical society. All is done now and they are pleased with it. But why did I say I could do it - they didn't even know it was in my skill set.

I'm relieved now, they've been printed and distributed.

But why did I put myself through the stress?
