    I wonder if anyone at Westminster Abbey read this report... Certainly, on my recent visits to the Abbey, the staff have behaved with reasonable courtesy - and there are now television screens to relay sight of the litury to various seats that cannot otherwise see them. So perhaps they did read this MW report !

    IIRC, there was some trenchant discussion on Ye Olde Shippe when this Report first appeared, and I think other recent reports on the Abbey confirm that matters have improved.

    As we've said on these boards many times before, it is often hard for major churches/cathedrals to reconcile the demands of purely 'secular' tourism with the needs of those wishing to pray, worship etc., and the Abbey is certainly not unique in not always getting it right.
