    Evangelical Christians are now referred to as ‘The Republican Party at Prayer’. That moniker previously belonged to the Episcopalians I’ve never understood why Evangelicals have made such strange bedfellows with Catholics and Jews given their long history of anti-semitism and anti-Catholic bigotry early on in the twentieth century. Their blind support for the State of Israel and positions on hot button social issues of the day has both groups hoodwinked. What a shame.

    I'm going to suggest very gently that comments be directed to the Report. Reflections on various aspects of US politics and/or religion are out of bounds -- unless directly related to (and referencing specifically) a comment made by the reviewer. And best not even then.

    Thank you, @john holding. I was about to suggest the same thing. As I recall, there was no mention made during the service of the State of Israel or of the tenets of Catholicism or Judaism.
