Follow-up phone call from the hospital to see how I'm doing one week post-op. I was able to say no lymphoedema, only modest discomfort at worst. Only problem is that the little support pillow tends to lock you into one sleeping position which eventually pinches on a nerve.

Day 2 post op. Surgical center called this morning. I do have a post op consult with doctor on Feb 16.
Yes, gallbladder surgery has greatly changed in the last few years, Surgeon used a robot to do the procedure. She cut four incisions just above the stomach and used small instruments to cut the gallbladder out. From the sounds of it, the gallbladder was abscessed. If I waited any longer, it could have been fatal.
Being out of our home town (and Australia altogether) we are missing our twice weekly Interval Training, and tennis for me, gardening on our sloping garden for LKKspouse.
I'm glad you/they prevented a fatal gallbladder disease @Gramps49 .
