  • Nearly 20 years on, and it would appear that this church has closed. The ACC website lists only three churches in the UK - two in Kent, and one in Wales.
  • ETA:

The ACC website says that the clergy and congregation withdrew from the denomination in 2024, as did those of another ACC church in Wales (not the one mentioned in my previous post). It's not clear as to whether St Alban's is still open for worship, under a different banner, so to speak, but these small groups probably find it hard to keep going...
  • It is currently listed as an "Associate Congregation" with the Free Church of England (https://fcofe.org.uk/churches/northern-diocese/).

    Thank you!

The Welsh church which left the ACC at the same time is also an Associate Congregation.

I wonder how the Anglo-Catholic liturgy of St Alban's (assuming it's still being carried on) fits in with the rather Low Church Prayer Book Evangelical style of the FC of E?
