I'd be grateful for prayer too as we head into yet another crisis-y Christmas--I've just gotten word that we/our insurance company is/are being sued over a car accident. My husband says the man came across the center line 30 feet from an intersection and hit him. The other man (when not screaming abuse) claims he was parked when my husband hit him AT the intersection--and is now claiming head and torso injuries, apparently. (He's driving a late-model Mercedes, Mr. Lamb was driving a 2009 Chevy.)
I'm still recovering from surgery and we have a family fuss going on with close relatives in California, so it's not a great time.
We gave a recorded statement about the accident and don't expect to hear more till after Christmas. Our insurance clarified that the other driver hasn't actually filed suit as of yet; he may be trying to scare people into paying him, or simply waiting to see if the insurance companies' decisions go against him.
So it's been mayhem trying to sort out a medication dosage for the Telemum since last week, and meanwhile, her care plan and financial assessment is being finalized.
I also have of course just heard back that two of my three referees haven't responded. I've sent a reserve for the third. Please let this go without a hitch, because if it goes wrong I will lose the job.
