Hmm. Either that last move was way too weird, or maybe we’re losing steam, or maybe both?

Anyway, back to somewhere more familiar:

    Camden Town
  • Mill Hill (The Hale)
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
    Finsbury Park
  • Arnos Grove which should should put large parts of Britain in nidd
  • PigletPiglet All Saints Host, Circus Host
    But not York.
  • King's Cross (York Road) - that'll fox 'em, it's only served by trains going in one direction!
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
They could stop at Royal York on the way back. (I know it seems very far away, but it's actually only one stop east of Islington...)
  • Hmmm, not quite sure that my Oyster card would work there ...

Not sure about York Road on the Piccadilly Line either.
  • Nidd Bridge (in Yorkshire)
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
I suppose that also rules out York Mills, Yorkdale, and York University stations...

We have Figaro on the CD player at the moment so Covent Garden.

That's easy for you to say ...

    Aberystwyth
  • PendragonPendragon Shipmate
How about a detour to Devil's Bridge then?
  • Dalmeny is by a much nicer bridge
  • HelixHelix Shipmate
oh goodness - easy - thank you Putney Bridge
  • Bridgeton (Central)
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
I’m pretty sure London Bridge is close to a bridge somewhere, and I know it’s conveniently close to the Market Porter...
  • PigletPiglet All Saints Host, Circus Host
    Tower Bridge
  • Tower Hill
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
    Aldgate
  • That sounds very terminal, especially if you're on the Metropolitan Line. Ignoring the Tier 4 restrictions and risking prosecution, we'll take a nice trip along the Cambrian Coast to Pwllheli. (It's in Oyster Zone 186, I think).
  • Ignore Tier 4 restrictions? Is outrage! Return at once to Aldgate East.

    But I'm in Wales ...

Anyway [petulantly] I want to pas Go and collect my £200.

(What do you mean, that's a different game? It's got stations on it, hasn't it?)

    £££ please, not $$$!
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
I suppose that probably means visiting Santa at North Pole.

Some of you guys need to think four-dimensionally as you've just inadvertently opened Elephant and Castle.

All Northbound lines into interchanges are of course in Spoon now because of the Brooke-Taylor provisions (check Pateley Bridge and Harrogate Symposium Ruling 566 subsection AX Appendix Omicron)

In that case, Clapham Common, in search of a man on an omnibus.
  • PigletPiglet All Saints Host, Circus Host
    Southfields
  • Northfield - please note the lack of final "s".
  • Blackfriers to look for a black cat in a dark room
  • MarsupialMarsupial Shipmate
And we return to bridges with Longbridge.
  • Shortlands.
  • And I have cross-posted with Net Spinster twice on the same page. But apparently they have found the cat because we are back at Catford.

I thought the players might be inspired by this little diversion.
    [/tangent]
  • Thanks to the cross posts a slide to Catford Bridge
  • Hornchurch, because that’s where the song starts, and we haven’t been east for a while.
  • PigletPiglet All Saints Host, Circus Host
Oh well, if we're going east, Lowestoft

    *Cough*Cough*Cough*!

Lyttleton Reverses are nor valid during Spoon. So you're in Nip and forfeit your green chips.

Circle is wild now so I'm playing my Joker with Rickmansworth

Diagonals pay the dealer unless raised three times the ante, obviously.
  • Hmm let’s try west instead. Conwy, for its cool castle and railway bridge.

(I figure it’s the same Oyster zone as Pwllheli, give or take a zone or two.)
  • KarlLBKarlLB Shipmate
That puts everything single-track in Nidd, which suits me.

    Tottenham Court Road

You could concede now if you don't want to endure the long drawn out conclusion of the inevitable.

I see what you did there, BT, but you've given me a free pass to Greenock Central, which is rather nice, as it's where my parents came from*

Lady Bracknell would not have approved. Which brings us to Victoria Station of course.

  • The Brighton side?

    Your choice

    Dollis Hill

Oh, and Zone 4 currently Trumps, before anyone tries the Brooke-Taylor Mainline Interchange Defence. Kings Cross St Pancras to Waterloo thoroughly vulnerable.
