It would really help, when referring to the BCP, if people made clear which church's BCP (and if necessary which year's) they had in mind. It took me quite some time to realise that TEC had a BCP separate from the CofE one, and that there were multiple revisions/editions of it.
I've also been confused by NT, which to me is an antiquated Windows operating system but to those in the know is New Testament.

In the C of E, it can stand for 'Self-Supporting Minister', for example, a priest-in-charge (often in a small parish), who may work only part-time, but who is provided with a house or flat.
