Good news @Rossweisse.
I think my brother could do with some prayers. He was upbeat last week despite having been stuck in hospital for months unable to eat while they get him strong enough for an operation to sort out the one that went wrong last time. This week he is a bit down and scared.
Praying for all that need our prayers and cannot ask.
Barry B (of the heart attack) is home with stents. Deo Gratias with an Australian accent!
Tiny Toby was almost ready to go home but has caught a cold so they are all very disappointed - having organised a lovely dark brown, solid wooden cot for him. So prayers for him (and also Jess and Alexander - his Mummy and Daddy)
Baby Caroline. Little Beaky.
All with cancer or worrying about loved ones with cancer
All who are anxious for whatever reason - but especially those who are existentially anxious (Brexit, Climate, their country's politicians ... that kind of thing)
M's mother, J, for whom you have prayed before, died in her care home last night, with her dearest relatives close by. M says he has felt upheld by your prayer support. Thank you all
She was a lovely lady. May she rest in peace and rise in glory <votive>
On the Home Front we've pulled of buying the house we intended to live in for the rest of ours days. Not good, but there are too many potential snags and a seller who a) won't negotiate on price, b) wants four weeks between exchange and completion and c) doesn't want to complete & move too close to Christmas (but still before Christmas) and isn't "being difficult" to use her solicitor's language, so we are out of the game until next year.
Lord, may there be something suitable next year that doesn't look like a money pit.
Although I read this thread almost daily I very seldom post so it seems a bit of a cheek to come and ask for prayer... However, if you have any spare prayers please could you remember:
My friend A who is looking after her brother L who is dying from oesophageal cancer. He was determined to get to Christmas, A said, but now it looks as if he won't make it.
Other friend I, who is in hospital having tests for worrying symptoms that seem to be related to the brain tumour (apparently benign) that he was treated for a couple of years ago. He is very scared.
And me. The anti-depressants I started taking a few months ago, and which seemed to make me feel a lot better now appear to have stopped working.
For MaryLouise’s Nancy, for healing and peace of mind.
For Pendragon’s Aunt S, may she rest in peace and rise in glory.
For Jengie’s Mum.
For jedijudy’s E, and for his parents J and M and baby twin brothers. For Aunt C, may she rest in peace and rise in glory. For upholding for Uncle D.
For Piglet.
For Galilit.
Yay Baby Caroline!!!
For Mamacita’s Pam, for healing.
Perhaps now I should mention my ongoing hope that care never becomes A Problem in the Telehome.
Yay Ross!!! Prayers for continued progress and hey, why stop at the mets in her liver?
For healing and good spirits for Sarasa’s brother.
For Barry B, for healing. For Tiny Toby, Jess and Alexander.
For a public intention, somewhat coincident with Christmas.
For Mrs S’ J, may she rest in peace. For upholding for M.
For ideal housing for sionisais.
For Piglet’s P and S, and for all who loved them.
For the Remembrance services this weekend.
For Nuthatch’s A, for upholding; and L, for healing. For healing also for I. And for Nuthatch.
For all affected by the fires in NSW, QLD and California. For all affected by the flooding in England.
The Telemum’s leg ulcer gets better very, very, very, very slowly. She is basically in good health and only slightly frail so she seems sooooooo close to getting back to how she was… how about some expedited progress there please??? Also, Problem Cat continues to improve and we have established that not all of his crying is due to pain, but is merely equivalent to banging his tin cup on the bars of his cell. That takes a lot of the stress out of it. Prayers for his continued and minimally expensive healing and for continued swift reimbursement from his insurers; he has an X-ray this week.
I really need a LOT of self-discipline and productivity. I have to apply for follow-on funding which may be too late. I want to stay in my current job but I also need to look for another, and bring my machine learning skills up to scratch while finishing up my writeup and the experiments… urk
My theatre group might get funding for a European mini-tour... hopefully we get that and under circumstances where all of us can join.

Thank you for your prayers. L died yesterday morning. A says 'It hurts like crazy'.
I is still in hospital waiting for results of more tests.
Please continue to pray if you can.
Dear Nuthatch, Praying for A and the crazy hurt.
Also remembering @Rossweisse, @Robert Armin, @Piglet and other courageous shipmates.
May I ask prayers for me. I am about as strung out as I ever have been - just the stresses of life and ministry. I start 6 days holiday today, and if you could pray for them to be days of restoration of the spirit, I would be so grateful.
P.S. one of the stresses is trying to get the paperwork together for the Giraffe (son) to apply for his South African visa by a week on Wednesday (interview date). If any spare prayers might be applied to recalcitrant health workers who have forms to sign, that would help!
Cathscats, if I can help by making local calls within South Africa, let me know. Unfortunately I'm not based in Cape Town or I'd pop along to see if I could expedite things from this end.
Prayers continuing to ascend for all in need, especially Cathscats for a useful and restorative break, and the Giraffe for conquest of the paperwork; and for Nuthatch and her friends and the soul of L.

For me: I have chronic migraines. One started today--worse than I've had for a while, and presenting a bit differently. I can cope, but I need to make it to an appointment Tues. Would appreciate prayers, please.
