    Personally, I prefer the Oxford serial comma. I have issues with Pullman, and would prefer not to agree with him, but...

    That having been said, that's for UK folks to sort out. I take Enoch's point.

    Of course, however this all works out, the coins might be collectors' items one day. I noticed in the linked article mentioned the cancelled commemorative coin that would've been dated 31 October. If there are any test copies and they ever get out, they'd probably be very collectible. (Not a coin collector; but have heard various things over the years.)

    Yes, my father was saying the same thing about Edward VIII coins, which do exist but are incredibly rare.
