I've got a fair amount of the rectory furniture from the local British Heart Foundation recycled furniture store. Wardrobes, sofas, shelves, chairs etc. Great stuff, great value.
When we cleared out my mother-in-law's house after her death, we filled a BHF van with loads of her furniture.
It's a family legend that I visited the house the Christmas before we were married, arriving on Christmas Eve, and sat on the family sofa only to hear a crack and end up on the floor. Luckily, her dad patched it up and it lasted a while longer. (No, that was not the settee we gave to BHF!)
Make no mistake, this is the message that our politicians and leaders have given us for the last two decades, from the expenses scandal through Brexit and exemplified by our own dear leader, Mr Johnson.

Even if they're caught, they call it "shrewd business practice" or "working the system". Remember, only the little people commit benefits fraud.
No True Blue Englishman ever commits benefit fraud, only Them Igrants...
Who knows what perversities the criminal classes may engage in?
