I rather liked Hart to Hart when it was on. These days there would have to be edginess, or disfunction between the couple. They were simply a happy couple with a healthy relationship.
I used to work for a genetics researcher whose speciality was arrhythmic right ventricular cardiomyopathy (ARVC), a hereditary heart condition which often causes premature death in people who were apparently perfectly fit. Whenever I hear of someone like Mr. Jones dying suddenly and prematurely, I wonder if ARVC might have been an issue in their family.
A large part of my former boss's work was encouraging people who lost relatives to ARVC to have a genetics test, as there are measures that can be taken to prevent health issues if the gene is present.
Did anyone select a certain American political leader recently hospitalized with inconsistent reports of health status? Suspect he's not worth many points.

Unbelievable. I truly hate this year. Another baseball Hall of Famer (but not on my list) has died: Joe Morgan. One of the all-time best second basemen to play the game.
Since the start of September, baseball has lost: Tom Seaver, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Whitey Ford and now Joe Morgan. All in less than a month and a half.
Nor I (assuming I managed to scrape an entry together this year...) - if McMaverick and Baker are on minus points, there should be a bunch of us in equal 12th with zero, shouldn't there?
Also, speaking of negative points, would anyone object if, for next years game, the rule was changed to simply give anyone over 100 zero points, not negative points? You would still get listed for unique picks, or for simply having an elder as a pick.
On two other boards where I moderate DPs this is accepted. I have a themed list on one of them, where nobody is under 97.
I have two new names I encountered this year for the elder list. You should check out Ben Ferenex and Gail Halverson.
Me too - and also I've just heard that Jill Paton Walsh has died, at the age of 83. Children's author, detective fiction (Imogen Quy) and the continuation of the Lord Peter Wimsey series.
@McMaverick, Baker can give the official explanation, but I have always read it as follows: the first is the score based on the ages of the deceased. The second number is the number of correct predictions made. The third number is based on whether the prediction was "unique"--only one player listed that name.
So, for example, not many people list baseball players on their lists, so almost every correct guess on my list is likely to be unique. But if Trump should kick the bucket, many people had him on their list and get points, but nobody gets a "unique" designation.

Oh! She wrote the wonderful Golden Grove, Unleaving that I’ve kept on my shelves. Powerful and beautiful!
About 50 years ago, when I was living in the same area of New Jersey as Mr. Randi, my mother and I passed him on the highway (well, our car passed his car). I knew nothing about him, but my mother recognized him, especially since he was driving with a parrot sitting on his shoulder.

Australian cricketer Dean Jones passed away after suffering a heart attack in India, there to commentate on the IPL or some such.

Now I've given you all an earworm ...
Rumour is, he is not worth much of anything.
Nobody had Eddie.
My memory is crap, but I think this is the first time I have ever had two people on my list die.

Yes, you do. I think what happened is that you listed him as John Robert Lewis and I searched using just John Lewis.
