Farage was an MEP. So like it or not he had a voice in the vote. I find him awful, but he was an MEP
Farage had a voice long before he was an MEP, he was also present far more often than other parties which also had MEPs (Greens for instance).

He was on both prior to and since being an MEP. While an MEP he was one of the most frequent guests on QT. He was on QT in the run up to the 2019 Euro elections (which as he was the only candidate to appear should have placed the BBC in a difficult position re impartiality ahead of an election).
I can understand that the producers of QT having a commercial imperative in featuring him, but that's different from maintaining objectivity.
