Sorry for the double-post, but I ask for your prayers for the repose of the soul of my mother-in-law, N., who I've just heard died last night; and for my s-i-l C, b-i-l A and niece E.
She was 91, and had a "good innings" until she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's a year or two ago, and will now be reunited in Heaven with her husband, L., and with David.
She didn't know that David had died; C. thought that she might not understand (and if she did, it would be too upsetting for her), and I think she was right.
Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.

And now my mother has broken her hip. And hit her head, though she told the doctors she did not. Apparently on Thanksgiving, with surgery the next day, and hopefully going home tomorrow.
But nobody thought to tell us (me or my brother) till today.

Prayers continuing to ascend for all in need, especially Lamb Chopped's mum; Robert Armin; Raptor Eye's F and for the soul of I; and continuing for S and H - S is now in hospital.

Update - they're both in hospital now - they're husband and wife, and in a two-bed ward together, but from FB posts, they seem in good spirits, and say they're in good hands.
They're both in their mid-40s, and I'd say they were probably quite physically fit. I don't know H all that well, but S was a keen (and very talented) rugby player in his youth, and still does athleticky things.
My 91-year old Aunt H was taken to the hospital today after passing out. They sent her home with oxygen, because apparently she wasn't getting enough, and she's seeing more doctors tomorrow. She's very frail but mentally quite sound. Please pray for her.

Yesterday was World Aids Day and I was stricken to hear how many young South Africans are now seriously ill with Covid-19 complicated by their living with HIV/Aids. Please pray for all those suffering here with Aids.

I asked prayers for H who had a difficult pregnancy and there were worries over the baby. She has given birth to a son over the weekend and he is healthy.

I ask your fervent prayers for the people of southeast Alaska, including our old friend Comet from the old Ship. (She has posted on the Ship's fb group but has ok'd me posting here.) They have had massive downpours of rain today on top of a previously heavy snow which is now melting. There is a lot of flooding with many landslides, and people are being evacuated. She and her family are safe at the moment but are vulnerable. Alaskans are tough and know how to live with the climate, but these conditions are, as she says, "unprecedented." Your prayers are appreciated.
