Robert Armin is still in the land of the living, but is seriously unwell and the outlook is not good.
He has his phone with him but is not well enough to respond to calls or messages. However, it may be that he can still read this thread - although I imagine he's probably exhausted through not being able to breathe properly - so if you wanted to post messages of support here for him, it may be that he can see them from where he is in hospital.
Thank you, Ariel.
Praying for your breathing, @Robert Armin , and for your peace of mind and heart.
Prayers for Lisa.
And for @Galilit .
And for a young father in one of the villages here.
Thank you @Ariel
Prayers for peace for @Robert Armin - for freedom from fear, for an ease in your breathing and for the best care possible. @Galilit π―

I have corresponded with @Robert Armin via the Ship off and on since sometime in the early 2000s, and I had the pleasure of meeting him in person when I travelled to the UK in 2009. He is charming, and fun, and kind -- the best of good company. If you're reading, know that I am thinking of you constantly.

Yep. All of that. We became friends when he first joined the Ship some 20 years ago, met up in real life and stayed in touch over the years. He's unique.
If you're reading, I'm very glad we managed to meet up in London in March for the Van Gogh exhibition. You weren't well then, but it was good to be able to spend time with you none the less, before lockdown and Covid restrictions kicked in. Whatever they may impose, out of sight is certainly not out of mind.
Prayers for ease for @Robert Armin a Shipmate whose writings have always engaged, even if I have never had the privilege of meeting him in real life to find out if that followed through.
Thank you to all those who prayed for Robert and wished him well. I know that he valued the support and friendship he found on these boards highly. On his behalf, thank you for being there for him. He is at peace now, and out of pain; he passed away last night.
Very sorry to hear that, and thanks very much for letting us know Ariel. I always enjoyed reading Robert's posts, and remember him as a long-time Shipmate though under Ship names I no longer remember. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

For some time he was The Wanderer, before changing to Robert Armin.
