The horrible disease, cancer, appears to spread amongst some loved ones.
Please, in your generosity and kindheartedness, pray for
A, the elderly friend of my late mother's - one of the few of that generation that are still around, and who are truly prescious. (Mentioned before on the Prayer thread.) - She was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, and has a appointment with a specialist today. Some recent symptoms are worrying.
G, a dear friend of mine in England, who is also afflicted by the disease and has been told she has less than 2 years to live...
P, the longterm boyfriend and partner of my cousin L, who was only discovered to suffer from this a few weeks ago, and is being given both chemo and radio therapy
Good grief!
Thank you for holding them up, as you do so well here..
Please pray that I might remember the security number of my old phone - I exchanged it remotely in February, the new phone needed 6 digits not 4. We weren’t able to transfer the data, photos, etc due to lockdown. We went to a branch of the new network today, but I can’t remember the old code to allow it to happen 😧
Rejoicing with @Priscilla and praying for others on the thread. Also @idj who was in a bad place some time ago and hasn’t been seen recently, or not by me, anyway.
I'm afraid I'm asking for prayers for another soul. About half an hour after I heard about S., I heard of the death of B., an elderly gentleman from the congregation in St. John's. I'd appreciate your prayers for him, his wife J., and their family.
<votive> for both of those good, kind, decent Christians, having gone to meet their maker in whom they put their trust, and for those remaining here, and who mourn.
<votive> for those who ask, and those who dare not
<votive> that we ourselves may be good, kind, decent Christians, whenever be possibly can, and even when we can't, so that we might be light and salt when there is utter darkness and tastelessness.
Please Shipmates, urgent prayer request
Little Beaky, his brother and both parents have acquired a virulent and very unpleasant stomach bug- they don't understand how they got it as they are super vigilant.
Little Beaky is tube fed, so D and V are not easy to manage and he's wretched.
The other set of grandparents have got the youngest Beaky with them so they will probably catch it too. Daughter and husband can only stagger from bed to bathroom, but heroic carers are still coming in to look after Little Beaky. His respiratory issues mean that being sick poses a huge problem/ possibility of choking.
I hate how hard things are for them all!
I too am offering prayers for all of us and those we love who are grieving
Prayers for the Beaky family, for swift healing and protection.
(Just a thought, @MrsBeaky , they don't have a water cooler in their fridge for drinking water, do they? Apparently these can harbour all sorts of bacterial nasties.)

And to mine.
