I hope it is OK to be giving regular updates as I don't want to be annoying?!
Just heard Little Beaky is now on regular doses of morphine so they finally have the pain under control.
But lots of tests and scans now to try and sort out what on earth is going on and how to treat it- tubes everywhere like when he was born!
Thank goodness for the family room at the parents hostel so they can camp out there with their baby and they can take it in turns to rest.
I am just about to leave for the hospital- they have had a rough night as Little Beaky's baby brother is refusing to settle. Not quite sure what's going on there.
Little Beaky is having almost constant seizures so one of today's delights will be an EEG but only if the medics feel he is stable enough to tolerate it as any movement is hurting him and the pain then triggers hideous (dystonia) muscle spams and/or seizures
I will update as and when I can- so grateful for your prayers
I will be praying for us all whilst I'm on the train!
I am sitting beside Little Beaky who is on an HDU ward watched over by his lovely mother whilst we wait for a series of intrusive tests. He is in great pain whenever he is moved but there is a deep sense of peace here.
For Little Beaky
For Doone's friend's granddaughter. May she rest in peace and rise in glory, and may her memory be a blessing.
For Alex Cockell
For Lamb Chopped
For my friend Libby, who is dying of a fast-moving and painful pancreatic cancer
For all in need
I asked for your prayers for T & H. T died yesterday. And so I ask for prayers for H, their two grown up daughters, and all who loved T.
Praying myself for all who are mentioned above.
Good morning
Thank you all so much.
Huxley slept peacefully until 4am, he woke a few times with meds and obs but no pain or crying but he was unsettled from then on, however nothing like the last couple of nights. Today will be more tests but hoping and praying this is slowly heading in the right direction.
Here is the latest update from Little Beaky's Mum:
Just had results of the EEG which they did today. It confirmed that they are tonic seizures, rather than dystonia. we are increasing his meds tonight and then the neurologist is coming to see us tomorrow to discuss a further treatment plan.
He’s struggled to sleep all day and has sporadically burst into tears. Full tears with his bottom lip. 😭
Thank you for your prayers
My prayers for all of us and those we love
(waves timidly) My family is having the usual demon-inspired periodic crisis (seriously--possible cancer, a hole in my eye (macula), AND the person slandering my husband has managed to add so many new accusations (completely out of thin air) and make so much noise that there is now a police investigation, and Things May Get Much Worse. Because Mr. Lamb is brown, you know, and I have no faith in the authorities under our current political climate to get innocence right. There are even murky suggestions that the whole mess is not really about Mr. Lamb at all, but about some underground sleazy multi-organizational fight, the wrong side of legal--not that anybody's saying anything at all definite, just dropping hints, and we completely in the dark about what's going on.
<votive> For H, T and their children
<votive> For Nancy ( @MaryLouise, if Nancy would like to communicate with someone who's been there, I'm happy to help.)

<votive> For all in need
I've had a relatively rough day, but I'm hoping for better things tomorrow.
P.S. Huxley is Little Beaky's real name which is now public on his Instagram page but I typed it in error as have just been updating family too!
Ten or fifteen years ago an online friend asked for prayers for her unborn twin grandchildren. It was a difficult pregnancy, and the kids hadn't been named yet: they were just A and B.
Online prayer communities all over the world prayed for weeks for the health of babies Alfalfa and Beansprout. When they were finally both born safely, their grandmother let us know the names. A common reply was that they'd already been named a good while earlier, but God would probably be able to sort the prayers out.
Praying for Little Beaky and his wonderful family. Also for @Lamb Chopped and for @Rossweisse . You people help put my little worries into perspective. May God give us all reason to smile today.

For everyone everywhere, especially if sick, suffering, in danger, or in trouble.
May everyone and everything feel, do, and be a bit better.
Especially for Lamb Chopped, Rossweisse, and Little Beakey.
