Little Beaky
Tiny Toby
While looking for Little Beaky's Insta I came across another wee Huxley with pretty much the same diagnosis ... born at the end of May ... so Huxley in Oregon too

Praying for all by name.
So last night Problem Cat scratched the Telemum again (she cornered him exactly like she did the first time around), I took her to A&E and we were back within an hour with antibiotics before she got any symptoms.
She's taking them but now she is feverish, inflamed, and bedridden again.
Praying for all who post here!and those that need our prayers and cannot ask.
Prayers for G and K whose wedding l'm attending this weekend. They are both in their seventies and look slightly shocked at their audacity in getting married!
Please pray for two members of our congregation - their baby daughter arrived 3 months early, and did not survive. Please lift D and J, and the soul of their little one, to God.
Prayers ascending for the Lamb family
For the Beakys
For the Telefamily
For Sarasa’s G and K
For Dormouse’s D and J, and for the soul of their baby

For all in need
Good news - little Caroline (and her parents) were in church this morning. The baby's not eating, but she has a feeding tube, and she seemed otherwise pretty happy. Her mother, who sings in the choir, seems much relieved. Deo gratias.
I am about to catch a train up to stay with my brother in London so that I can be on hand all week to help with Little Beaky. This means that I will be using my phone to access the Ship so apologies in advance for any and all errors!
In addition to all the neurological and surgical difficulties he is facing poor Little Beaky now has a stomach bug and is in isolation on the HDU.
This has added a logistical challenge with his baby brother who must be kept away from him, yet needs his mum as she is breastfeeding so it really is all hands on deck and I will be doing some of the nights by his bedside so that his exhausted parents can sleep.
His seizures are still off the scale so one of this week's aims is to try and get them under control. His pain levels have improved and he is off the morphine but still requiring other regular pain relief.
Thank you for all your kindness and prayer- please know you have my prayers too
Little Beaky's stomach bug has improved and he has also been signed off by the surgeons. The hospital want him off the ward as they need the bed.
The neurological team have only just started experimenting with the new cocktail of drugs to try and get the seizures under control. The drugs are causing an unstable heart rate- yesterday it dipped to 38 BPM!!- yet they are suggesting we take him home today.......
He was in a lot of pain and distress yesterday with the seizures so today's job is standing our ground as we honestly do not feel he is fit enough to go home yet.
His baby brother had his first set of jabs yesterday so he is really fractious too....wish me luck!
Thank you for your prayers
Little Beaky had a much better morning but then a tricky afternoon with lots of seizures. The neurological consultant was there when he had one and decided he does need to stay put until he is more stable. Changed the meds again (seizure management appears to be more of an art than a science) so hopefully he will sleep tonight.
I think today was in a funny sort of a way encouraging....
I remain very grateful for your prayers and am praying for us all and those we love as I drift off to sleep.
Messy here. Friend with dementia fell and damaged leg and a few other bits. Hospital. Denies existence of hospital, said there was no fall and dementia is causing him to be very unco-operative and rude. He rang this afternoon from what he called a hotel room to say he might be home tomorrow. We are trying to arrange more frequent visit from Benevolent Society carers. This will not go down well.
In middle of this, son had a call from
Large hospital. His MiL had fallen in Mall carpark and possibly broken both shoulder and arm. Apparently only arm. He can’t get through to his wife and has no way of getting car and patient. I have a suspicion may be occupied here for a while.
Prayers for those mentioned by @Lothlorien and for herself of course"m continued prayers for the Beaky family and for @Rossweisse and @Lamb Chopped and others.
It’s a tiny thing in light of everything here, but the relationship thingy is over and it’s a hard thing at my age. I feel very friendless right now. Please pray for me and the Other Party if you can spare a prayer.

So apparently the Telemum is in the cath lab right now… wonder what they’re doing in there. She thinks she’ll be stuck inside for a few days yet.
I need to get this bit written. Also Finance Monster is yapping in the distance.
May flights of angels sing her to her rest.
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayers.
