I went here once myself with my native Bostonian host. Sorry to say, we also found the welcome at this church lukewarm, to put it at its best.

To put it positively - they COULD turn that round so easily. Lets hope they do.

I wouldn’t take the coffee hour behavior too personal. I’ve found most of them in TECUSA and RC churches in the Boston area to be very cliquey. New Englanders tend to be guarded more so than their southern counterparts.
