    Having just read the MW report of the same Sunday from St Brides in the UK it is perhaps comforting to know that the 'difficult' biblical text of the day was as challenging on one side of the planet as it was on the other.

    It seems so counter-intuitive in the light of the rest of the gospels and so against what many Christians try to live today.....
