OK so the good news is the leg people discharged the Telemum - the bad news is Problem Cat bit her yet again and now it’s all red and we’re going to A&E and she can’t stand it and is crying.
She doesn’t have her phone, and I can’t find it because she doesn’t keep it charged. I guess she doesn’t value it, but I do for this exact scenario. Pretty sure it’s gone though.
Would you pray for K, who has a recurrence of breast cancer. This is less than two years since her last bout. She is scheduled for surgery later this month.

Please pray for L, 85 and until now a bright bundle of good cheer and intelligence. A while ago she was diagnosed with cancer (they're not sure where it started, but it spread to her liver, so that's what they're treating her for), and she's having a hard time, although she's remaining hopeful. She's currently in a skilled nursing facility, but apparently believes she'll be returning to her home soon. I agree with the decision of her family and friends not to enlighten her on that point.
Too many things have piled up suddenly this week with friends and family - difficult to talk about - and there are all the brave souls down in the cancer thread too. But I remembered something our choir sang a few years ago called The Healing Song, sung to the opening bars of the second movement – the adagio - of Brahms’ violin concerto:

I just heard from my mother and my stepfather may be having a recurrence of his cancer. Please God not. (I'm having my own mini-scare at the moment, probably nothing but getting checked tomorrow)
Offering up prayers for as all as I travel to be with Little Beaky for a couple of days of helping with his care- there's a new drugs and feeding regime for me to master so I am a bit nervous!

I drop in every day for everyone. But we need prayers now for D, who has returned from hospital with blackness across her feet. The district nurse has called in the doctor, using the word "necrotic" and the doctor is making an urgent call, pausing only to grab his gloves.
The ambulance is on its way, and she is desperately unhappy at going back to the hospital. The doctor wants it looked at by experts, and suggests that she may be back today. Not sure about that. Her feet weren't like it before she went in.
Thank you. Also for M, who, as of 8.45, was sitting in A&E waiting for his mother to be seen. Now 10, and nothing heard back yet. I'll have to collect him when things are sorted. It is pretty grim there, waiting, and worrying about words like "necrotic".

If you can toss a few prayers upward for me, I'd appreciate it. I thought I'd pretty much gotten over the prostate surgery I had a few months ago.
Then the other day I started peeing blood. Off to the docs today; they prodded and did a CT scan. No word back, but they didn't seem too worried. It'll probably resolve itself, but still....
