Just to add Mum tested positive to Covid-19. This will mean that the home is really in lockdown as all the residents are vulnerable. So if you could pray for the residents and staff at BG as well.
So sorry to hear this Jengie, and I agree with Nick Tamen, it's so quick to lose two parents. Be easy on yourself as this will be tough.
@Alex Cockell - hang in there - everyone is having to cope without their usual interactions, some better than others from the WhatsApp groups I belong to.
<votive> For @Jengie Jon and her sister, for the repose of her mother's soul, and for the other residents

🕯Prayers for all above, for the peoples of the world in this time of turmoil, and for all of the Christians who will not be able to worship as usual during this Holy Week.

Here in NSW, one of the earliest clusters of Covid-19 has been in an aged care home. Despite an early lockdown, there have been 5 deaths of aged residents and 17 confirmed infections. Praying that residents and staff of your mother's home remain well.
@MaryLouise I am reminded every time I see you of the extremis in which you and your fellow South Africans are currently living. Prayers for all those living under such circumstances.
Prayers also for @Jengie Jon and all those grieving without the solace of company which they would normally seek.

Thank you for the prayers, ThunderBunk. I do feel distraught and helpless at moments because the situation in Zimbabwe and South Africa is so overwhelming.
For all those in need of prayer.
They now have a case of Covid 19. Prayers for the resident who has it, the other residents who must be on a stricter lock down and the amazing staff coping with it all.
And although he's not my political cup of tea, prayers for Boris, who's now in Intensive Care, and for his girlfriend. Having seen D. spend the last four days of his life in an ICU, I really wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.

I can so understand that. My prayers are joining yours.
Can someone please take a moment to pray formy dear Chasidic friend's husband who has been struggling alone in a Brookly hospital for the past week, in increasingly deteriorating condition, from COVID-19. He was intubated this morning.
He has six beautiful children and my friend, his wife, at home who need him.
God of Abraham, Jesus and Mohammed I implore you to come to the immediate aid, full and speedy recovery of Schneur Zalman Yehuda Ben Hinda Yocheved Dukes. Please restore him to health and his family who most desperately need him.
I posted before about my brother Scott, the one in the group home. Well he's doing fine as far as I can tell, but my other brother, Tom, just went to the hospital with what sounds like covid. I'm waiting to hear from him about what they are going to do, admit him or send him home. Please pray.

Offering my prayers for all on this thread and those who are tearing their hearts open. I took my prayers out at dawn this morning as I often do. I had the incredible peace of seeing the full moon setting behind one range of hills and the sun rising over another, while a herd of 30 deer leisurely crossed my path, coming up from the river. And I prayed for the peace and beauty of that moment to be known by us all.
