Update on my housing situation. I need to move out in 3 weeks. The sellers of the property I am attempting to buy are not giving a timetable for completion, in spite of numerous requests and ample time to provide one.
This morning, I've reduced my offer, citing the fact that I will need to pay for temporary housing and put all my possessions into storage. I am genuinely fearing this sale is going to fall through and therefore I will be homeless in less than month.
Any and all prayers greatly appreciated as the stress is affecting both my sleep (where I've been waking up at 3 and not properly sleeping thereafter) and my neck, which has been very sore for the last few days and which I guess is a psychosomatic symptom of the stress.
I can't go to church this morning - looking after my grandson and waiting for my son and daughter-in-law to arrive, so good, happy reasons. I am surprised at how keenly I feel the loss.
Please pray for a dear friend, L - you prayed for her and for her mother, when the latter was mugged one New Year's Day. L has devoted herself to caring for her mother, often an uphill struggle, and now that her mother is, finally, in care, she is at last having a problem with her own health sorted out.

GCSE results the day after tomorrow, including those for Kid A. I think they’re going to be ok, but still found myself worrying ridiculously last night. (As has she been, on and off).
Please pray for all those expecting results, and all the Stuff they may have to organise afterwards, if the results aren’t what they wanted.

It’s a small thing in the scheme of things, but I’m just recovering from an enormous migraine, and I just don’t have time to be not feeling fabulous. I feel a bit pathetic, truth be told.

I learned today that I need yet more prayers: my liver enzymes are over the top, and my platelets are notably low. I have a lot to do, in terms of writing up instructions and assorted lists for my lawyer, trustee, and children. I need strength. (But I'm still ornery.)

Yes, it's so hard to do those legal, logistical, technical things when you are in a "metabolic state" . They have to be done, they have to be done right; but you're worried and weak, you have no energy anyway, let alone for that stuff and your "cognitives" are not cooperating either
