At just the moment when I need to be starting the home sprint to prove I should keep my job beyond end September, I have a series of interruptions. Today an odyssey to try to complete a COVID test except that Serco kept redirecting me to drive to testing centres at erroneous addresses, with many merry opportunities for exposure en route.
Also, the Telemum has started letting Problem Cat into the front hallway again, and that is Problem Cat's danger zone for lashing out and biting/scratching. After the Telemum was hospitalized for the fourth time I thought we had agreed to train him strictly, but how soon we forget.
I am delighted to report my oncologist was able to get approval for my infusion this (Monday) afternoon after my second Covid test came back negative..
It was a part of my pre-op for the spinal cord surgery I’m having early Tuesday morning. I have received unction and communion, and would greatly appreciate your prayers.
Rossweisse's friend L has emailed me to say that everything's gone well and asked me to put the news on the Ship - she says the surgery went according to plan, and she's doing well and her vitals are strong. The surgeon's optimistic that the surgery will sort out the pain she's been suffering. Yay!!!
Very grateful for Rossweisse's good news!! Praying for this to end the horrible leg pain she has been suffering.

Would you all keep my friend B in your prayers? She is having surgery tomorrow to remove part or all of her stomach. She has been suffering off an on for fifteen years. The last seven years she has been in and out of the hospital about two weeks of every month.
Prayers please for Rosemary, Tony and Tony's poor demented mother Dorothy (101) in California. The fires are very close to their house and vineyard.
And all the people in their area of course
Rossweisse is having terrible pain tonight, which the ibuprofen and tylenol aren't helping. Please pray???? I'm posting this to the hell cancer thread as well, at her request.
