Little Beaky now has a gruelling regime in place to try to maintain some sort of respiratory function. Life is very tough for the beautiful boy and his parents so continued prayers are greatly appreciated.

Whe I see what sort of hell people can arrive in through no fault of their own, I'm not very keen on classifying anyone as a goat - even if they've been determinedly butting others.
I didn't realize pneumonia results in serious brain fog and minor aphasia. This sucks. Fortunately, the cuss words still work.
I am sending LL back to Minneapolis to school, God help him. Pray for him? The Chauvin case is on my mind.
I'm asking for your prayers for Kiri Allen, the NZ Civil Defence Minister who announced today that she has been diagnosed with stage 3 cervical cancer. She was told on the day that there was a large earthquake here and major evacuations because of possible tsunamis. She was responsible for organising the response to this.

Might you offer a prayer for me today - as I set out to begin to tell my congregations that I will be leaving them in a couple of months. While I look forward to not harbouring a secret, I do not look forward to the telling and reaction - whatever it might be!
As long as he is well enough to leave the house, today Little Beaky is going with his parents to visit a school that he might attend from September.
They are having a bit of a logistical nightmare at the moment as they need to move.
They will rent out their house and find something to rent that better suits Little Beaky's current needs. The house also needs to be near suitable schools for him and also his little brother as they will probably stay there for a few years. It also needs to be near a hospital and a station!
They found a perfect house three weeks ago but it went to sealed bids and soared way above their budget. It is all quite stressful on top of the medical challenges so your continued prayers are very much appreciated!

Thank you for your prayers for me. it has been an interesting couple of days - fairly gentle until last night when I learned that already one of the elders has made a power grab. I spent the evening heading him off, to his disgust. I still have to reassure all those whose feathers were ruffled. My feathers feel a bit wind-swept as well this morning.
