After the second guess there were only two possibilities I could see, given the letters already used/ruled out. Unfortunately I tried the wrong one first.
It seems today is another two-different-answer day.
My sister posted her 2-guess grid on What's App, and I realised that if her answer was the same as mine, her first guess couldn't have been a word. I asked her if it was [my answer] and she said no.
I always use the same starter word. One of these days it'll come up, I'll get it in 1 and nobody will believe me.
Yes, I keep hoping for that. I figure I have a better chance with Quordle, as there are four possible right words each day. But so far, still no match.
And the letters in my starter word can form two different words, both common, so there is also a chance that I will one day have all the correct letters on my first guess, but in the wrong order!
