    Good choice!
  • The years (genuinely, about 10) of patience have paid off - I am now the owner of an OO gauge Robinson L3!

Lovely! Have you got a link?
  • I'm pleased for you - but (in my eyes at least) it's an ugly beast, nothing like the 9N tanks.

    Was it scratch-built for you?

In other news, I have travelled on (and enjoyed) both the Corris and Vale of Rheidol lines in the past fortnight.

I did the South Devon for the first time the other week. The Corris has been on my list for a long time - I'm a TRPS member - but I keep putting it off thinking they might have some more track in a bit... would you recommend it?

I've got a 9N/A5 on order (Rails of Sheffield are doing them as an exclusive) and don't disagree that they were the better looking.

Certainly couldn't afford a scratchbuilt one - I've just had my eyes peeled for either a kit or a built kit from the run that emerged in the late 1980s, and yesterday came up trumps with one that had been well built and for a sensible price. It's in plain LNER black, so given I'm reliverying to plain BR black with early crest and numbering, not the hardest job in the world.

Now I just need a C13.... and on we go....
