    I froze on the algebra question - which is why my time is my slowest this year.

    And I'm good at maths. I have 5 GCEs in the subject (2 at O level, 2 at A Level and 1 at S level).

    I agree with BroJames: there was something very off putting about the notation.

    Weird how sometimes the first few questions will go by so quickly -- it's *bang, bang, bang* with the answers, and then all of the sudden the mental brakes get thrown, and I'm either creeping through it, or having to re-read it, and we all know that if you have to re-read even a portion of a question, you're going to pay for it.
