I know I do not follow this thread much. But I want to add an update about my grandson, Samuel. He continues to have physical issues, though this one can be corrected. One of the things the family had noted is Sammy did not kick like a normal baby. He seemed to favor his right leg, Mother and father took him in, and they discovered his right hip was dislocated. There was also what appeared to be a hairline break on his right femur.
This set off a series of events in which they sent him back down to Seattle Childrens once again for a full MRI. Turns out the suspected break on the femur was a false reading. No breaks, but the hip dysplasia was confirmed. Likely happened during birth, though it had been a normal birth.
This means he has to wear a brace for the next six weeks, I think. He hates the brace, but if all goes well no surgery will be needed.
Note to LC. Wow. Concordia got hit? I had not heard of that. I will have to look that up. Glad no one was hurt through. I remember the many trees on the campus. Sorry to hear of the additional stress Mr. LC is going through.
Thank you everybody—Mr Lamb is home and kinda wrecked, as you’d expect. We’re waiting for word on the funeral so we can buy plane tickets. Hoping God spares our parishioner so as not to have grief upon grief—two is enough.
