I don't think I have read any of Robinson's series, but the book sounds good and The Guardian review said the books can be read in any order or stand alone as the series is not linear.
Yes, that's why I called it a quartet, because it's not linear at all, in the way that series usually are. It's about characters whose lives intersect, each from a different perspective. This one is from Jack's perspective, and so far seems to take place before Home, though the time period jumps around quite a bit. It seems quite a different style from the others.
I could lead it in September, or some month next year, if people are interested.
I am very confused about my thread about Home, @jedijudy - I was sure I led a discussion on it, but it really doesn't exist, because I did a search for 'Marilynne' and found several posts about her theology and her novels, some in Limbo, some in Oblivion, but no book group discussion posts. And I just searched through the nine pages of Limbo too and the only time I found the word Home was a discussion about a book called Home Fire.
(Just to add, I found my previous book club thread on Home on the old Ship, so you don't need to search, @jedijudy . It was in May 2016, which was before Jack had been written, and before the new Ship had been created.)
