Sometimes people genuinely lack the self-awareness to appreciate that know that at best they're boring everyone else and at worst they're just showing their ignorance.
And sometimes they know exactly what they’re doing, which is trying to wind others up.
Well yes, I think I would suggest those two options are often functionally the same.
There's an internet word for it, but I can't remember what it is, when someone continues asking questions that make little sense to wind up others.
ISTM (purely as a Shipmate) that the question in the OP was answered here and in the next post by Doublethink. Of course Styx is a place to ask about, and even discuss, decisions by Admins and Hosts, also about Ship’s policies, but not to go on discussing people’s views about the posting style of an individual poster.

I would push back on this a little, at least as a general statement. I would think posting style of an individual poster can be a valid topic of discussion in Styx. Posting style can be directly related to violations of the 10Cs as well as relevant to the functioning of the Ship. For example, it seemed to have been considered relevant in the many Styx threads about Martin54.
I understand why admonitions have been given in this case, but I’ll admit it took me a little by surprise given some past Styx discussions.

I’ve started a thread in Hell for all of that stuff so it doesn’t keep clogging up this and other threads. I hope it’s helpful.
