    Normally I'd go with Stone's ginger wine, but I thought I'd try the Fentiman's for a change.

    When I lived in Sutherland (far north of Scotland) it was quite common to order a whisky and a ginger beer. Separate glasses rather then mixed - so with the ginger beer as a chaser.
