Thank you for the prayers for my friend, specially @Foaming Draught 's which sums up the position perfectly. She is in what basically sounds a dementia hospital at the moment, the problem having too few beds in her area in an appropriate settingsand the fact that she is in her 70s. The experience seems to be making her rapidly worse and I can't even visit as it is a long way away and I'm off on holiday next week. Prayers that the situation resolves itself very soon. I'm also not very good at saying the right thing which really doesn't help.
