I'm indebted to the Guessometer for the horror film question - I plumbed the depths of the "questions I think we've had before" drawer of my mental filing cabinet.
I think you can still get it here in Canada. Didn't stop me getting it wrong though - I was thinking of the flavours rather than the colours on the tin. <brickwall>
Finally getting back into playing the Crew's Quiz!
Clearly I should not do it when waiting for my blood sugars to come back up. I am significantly slower. However, I can't blame my two wrong answers on anything other than not knowing a thing about films.

Thanks! I haven’t seen it around in the UK for some years.
I think the question about left hand typing could have been clearer ...
Yes, I didn’t get that til I saw the answer.
I wasted time on trying to work out whether it was talking the actual longest word, or referring to the letters typed by the left hand by ‘proper’ typing, only to then get it wrong! 😂
Fantastic start to the day - they have an incorrect answer for one question that I suspect every UK person will get "right" - in other words, wrong. Anyone who gets a 10, what were you thinking?
I got 10. I can't go back and see the questions again, but perhaps after today's quiz finishes you can say what the problem question and answer were.
It was about what linked the Manchester terrier, the colonial police force and something else I can't remember. The correct answer was "Black and Tan and they had Black and TEn.
I put black and tan and got it right. I saw the black and ten decoy answer which was there to catch the skim-readers, but I avoided it. Are you sure you aren't mistaken?
FunTrivia have got back to me: "wrong answer" report was acted on and a change made but no way to make it retrospective (if you see what I mean). I didn't think me and the sailing pals had imagined it.
You need to be logged in to play this game! Another doggone hurdle to jump over! When & why was this ordained? I'v always been able to click into the 'game' directly from here. I guess you don't need my extra-slow times any more. Preparing to flounce. Nah, just joking.
😂 I honestly thought someone would take a ridiculous and inappropriate name in that last question. This reflects my impression of the choice of names by some US celebrities, I confess 😳

PS It doesn't work as well as Fairy Liquid.

READ THE WHOLE QUESTION.

Major howler.
I made a Shout-Out comment but also emailed the quiz hosts so I suspect they changed it.
* none of us had had a drink - you don't when you're taking a yacht across the world's busiest sea-lanes.
eta re today's quiz: another film of which I've never heard.
Go and see the Downton Abbey movie Piglet and take D with you; I promise you'll love it, if only for Maggie Smith.
