Seems like there was a big debate in the early centuries of Christianity about the baptism of Jesus in Luke 3:22. Some argue that this is due to textural variations.

The variations are around the exact words spoken by the voice from heaven. The most popular version, after the words usually given is a full quotation of Psalm 2.7b. I can see why that would have been of interest in the Christological controversies in the early Church.

There has been a lot of discussion about Adoptionism in recent years, mostly apparently in response to Bart Ehrman's book.

I need to go back and refresh my memory on the detail, but I think Ehrman's central point is regarding the translation of words in that passage between the Greek in the NT and the Hebrew in Psalms.
