œ. Just discovered how to do that on an iPhone and it works on a Kindle Fire tablet too.

(Hold down an o on the touch keyboard and you get some pop up options. Without lifting your finger slide to the œ option then lift your finger. I think similar processes work for other characters. Like ü. )
