Blessed Passover for all who celebrate it!

Happy Passover to all who celebrate it! Anyone doing anything interesting for it? I may watch Prince of Egypt. I’ve got leftover matzoh ball soup in the freezer and I’ve got some Jewish food items I’ve never had before (gefilte fish and halvah, though the latter is chocolate-covered). I don’t think I’ll do a full Seder this year though. Cubby and I did it a few times though.

There are a myriad of reasons why Christians should not hold or stage a Seder, from it being the worst kind of cultural appropriation to it being an unauthorized liturgy within one's Christianity.

Get an invitation from a Jewish friend, and attend their Seder.

While I generally agree with this, and would add I think churches holding or staging Seders are exhibiting a deficient understanding of the Eucharist, I believe @ChastMastr is of Jewish heritage, which can make a difference, or at least makes it a more complicated equation.

I am indeed Jewish by blood; thank you.
As this is All Saints, and meant to be a positive and pleasant place for us to talk about things in our lives, I don’t think this is an appropriate place to debate what other people can or cannot do in their own homes or churches. I also would prefer my happy little positive thread to not be moved elsewhere and turned into a debate.
