My daughter, M, was with me in a restaurant when I received a phone call from @JCP. I knew right away that it would not be good news. When M saw my face, she came over and hugged me.
Motherboard was quite a character and had boundless energy! M and I had several fun get togethers with her! I think the first one was one of the Shipmeets in Colorado. So many fun times associated with that meeting (of axe murderers!!)
Mobo and JCP had relatives near my home, so many times when they were visiting them, they made time for us and we would meet in a restaurant, usually Cracker Barrel, which was halfway between my home and where they were staying. We would talk for hours and always had such a lovely time together!
My BFF was with us on several of the times we met here in Florida, and we enjoyed being together very much! Mobo and JCP invited us to stay with them when we had the Alien Meet in New Mexico. We had such a wonderful time! Mobo had so many interests, and their home was filled with her quilting projects, and other crafts. She also had a small orchard and a garden which supplied them, and many Shipmates, with chili peppers!
I'll think of some good stories about Motherboard later. Still processing being on Earth with no Motherboard with us.

She sent us little Christmas ornaments over the years, and also dried chile from her garden together with some local brands of chile powder. I am still using it now and will think of her every time I do.
Anyone else remember the Shipmeet where she was a surprise guest?
