Was that the Reading Lab, with the different levels represented by different colours (or "colors" as they called them)? I think that's where I discovered that Americans spell things differently.
Can't remember what it was called. There was a big box of cards, and yes they were different colo(u)rs for the levels. We would take a card out, read and answer the comprehension questions and mark our answers. All ideally without engaging with the teacher.

That sounds like the Reading Lab right enough.
In other news, I'm still nowhere near fast enough on easy days.
Well, that was a waste of time and money. The local techie expert place "fixed" my tablet to stop the screen shifting because it results in on-line forms having the wrong boxes ticked, etc. Ha! Today the !*&^%"! thing changed two of my answers from right to wrong 😡😡😡
I was the victim of a too-cold laptop today! My trackpad was annoyingly slow to register my finger's input. Probably only cost me a few seconds, but still...
Having got 10/10 in 30 seconds, I was feeling quite chuffed with myself, until it occurred to me that Anna B would probably have got it in 20. I wasn't that far off ...
Does the Beverly Hillbillies still get played a lot in the USA or is the question setter of an older generation? I was a kid when it was played in the U.K. & I’m in my 60s!
Stuff that for a lark - if there's only one in the list that you've heard of, he's more likely the right answer, even if that isn't why you thought you'd heard of him.

You called?
No you're not! 🙃
Speed merchants!
LOL! I've been playing so terribly this month that I needed to be farther up the roster to not continue my lousy scores!
Exactly.

Very bad language has been used.
Unfortunately, mostly from the half that's slower than me ...
I believe I have read the story in question, although I don't think I read it in that collection.
<raises hand>
And me! So random…
Yup, I always get that one wrong.
